Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

I have no complaints. The initial installation was a pleasant experience. An experienced technician who is respectful of you as a customer and considerate of your time is invaluable. I had to have someone come out a few months later because I am technical challenged sometime and they were very helpful, understanding and pleasant. I always give 4 stars because no one is perfect and there should be something to strive for..but you guys are very close to perfection!

Rebuild was not inexpensive, but Brandon was very professional, personable and knowledgable. He fully explained operation of the garage door and what would be required to repair door and reduce noise level of very loud garage door. After rebuild, operation of door is much smoother and quieter. Would definitely recommend.

Very professional, competent and extremely good communication throughout the process. My only issue is that when I set up the appointment, I was told the basic service charge would be $55, but turned out to be $140.

I had a new garage door installed. The service was prompt and good with exception of "the clean-up". Your servicemen failed to clean the nuts and bolts off the garage floor before leaving. I thought everything was good until I went to put my cars into the garage and saw several of these on the floor. LUCKILY, I did not hit any of them. What a surprise. Just make sure they sweep all garages thoroughly after installations.

The techs were very nice and did a nice job. They didn't take very long, were efficient, and did everything that was needed, but I never give the best rating, even though the service was very good. Although I wasn't home while our new opener was being installed, the Mrs. was there and she was very impressed with everything about the technicians. They were very knowledgeable and when they determined the problem they were able to take care of it right away. I realize that I'm only rating this a 4, but it's because I don't give anyone a 5. We were very pleased with the quick response to our repair problem and the speed in which the repair work was performed. We are on a limited senior citizen budget and the $571 price seemed high. It only took about 25 minutes for Joey to replace the rollers and broken spring. I am not sure how much of the cost was labor and how much was parts. He was very perfessional and a clean worker.
