Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

I very much appreciate that Precision Door did indeed provide same day service. It was a Saturday and also Christmas Eve day. I called several other contractors and did not speak with a person at any of them. I called Precision Door, spoke with a person (not an answering machine) and an appointment was made for later that day. The technician, Dana, arrived earlier than planned (another bonus). He performed the replacement of springs skillfully and expeditiously. Plus he was just a really nice guy.

When I couldn't open my garage door I called Precision at about 9:45 am, and was given a repair window of between 11 and 1 o'clock--pretty prompt in my opinion. However I was close to astonished when Brandon showed up at 10:45 and had finished the repairs by 12 noon.I'm extremely satisfied with your services.

Dear Dean: I just want to express my thanks to your technician Russ who serviced my garage door this evening. Not only was he quick to diagnose and fix the problem but I'm afraid that I had to make special requests of him entirely out of his line of duty. My son was at work at the time Russ arrived. In my garage were his two cars that, unfortunately, had to be moved so Russ had room to work. Not being able to drive stick shift myself (I look pretty silly behind the wheel of any of them), I had to get Russ's help to get the hood up on one so I could disconnect the battery charger. Then, I'm sure much to his dismay, I asked him if he could drive a stick shift and would he mind bringing it back into the garage. I'm only 5 ft tall and can't see over the hood on the darn thing. He graciously agreed to help and for that I am very grateful. Thank you for having such a willing and respectful technician who was ready to help an old lady in distress. By the way, the garage door works fine now. I have always been very pleased with your company's service and have actually sent a customer or two your way. Keep up the good work!

You rating is actually all 6's, based on the service we received. My car was stuck in the garage and I was surprised at the quick same day response from my initial e-mail on your website to the time the technician arrived because I thought it would be a couple of days. Your technician inspected the problem, knew everything about the repair, reviewed my options, made his recommendation and explained the warranty. After repairing the garage door, he made adjustments to the opener so the door would create a good seal when closed. We're very happy with the quality service we received and will call again when our other door needs to be serviced. We plan to refer your company whenever we have the opportunity.
