Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

I just wanted to offer a quick note of appreciation for the services Jim provided to me earlier this afternoon. Yesterday a spring on my garage door snapped. I have been in the house for 14 years and am not the original owner. The previous owners owned the house for about two years. Best guess is, the previous homeowner installed the current unit - but I am not certain. The spring breaking was the first major issue I have detected with the garage in the years I have owned the house, so I was uncertain what to expect when I called your company. I was very pleased to reach a service representative today who said she could get someone out to see me today. When Jim arrived, he was very enthusiastic, friendly, and did a great job of explaining the options and showing me that the Rebuild option was probably best for me. So even though it was much more than I had planned to spend, it seemed like the right choice. Jim had the added challenge of another trades person arriving at the same time as I had another issue with my house that needed immediate attention. Obviously my attention was distracted, but Jim was patient and worked with me very well. As he worked, he identified a few structural issues with my system and was able to secure them as part of his work. I really appreciate Jim's professionalism.

I called Precision after 9:00 pm on a Friday night. Not only did they answer the phone I was scheduled for Saturday appt. Brian was my tech. He was early, courteous, professional and very efficient. Brian took the time to explain the repair and offer a few other items for maintenance or replacement. Brian made quick repairs, cleaned up, tested and explained all the services he did. Wayne and his helper were fast and professional. In just a few short hours they replaced both of my garage doors, tracks and springs. They did an excellent, clean job on the installation. And when they were finished Wayne took the time and explained all the things they had done. Then he explained the new features of my garage doors and of the very minor maintenance for them. They did all this even though the outside temperature was only 20 degrees that day.

I know it wasn't an easy fix. The builder had not left the door frame square & plumb. Previous repair by a different tech at Precision Door Service 3 yrs ago put on wrong pulleys. Overall excellent experience from sales to office to installation. Why did I choose Precision? I had a neighbor who had "Amarr" garage doors installed by "Costco". I fell in love with the product, however, I was not impressed by the "out of state" contractor (installer). So I went online and searched for companies (great webpage)that carried this product line. When I saw the "Overhead Door" name pop up, I decided to call your office, amoung others, and scheduled appointments. The rest is history. John Wise (sales) was knowledgable of the product line and helped use choose the model and style, including the the Genie opener. Terry (office) was friendly and helpful during the mixup with the cardcard for the deposit. I can't say enough about Troy. First, he helped me move my '65 Mustang (not running) out of the garage so that he could do the installation. He was courteous, respectful, knowledgable and thorough in the installation of our doors and opener. Troy took the time to answer all of my questions and stayed past dark to insure final product was perfect. We could all use more people like Troy in the service industry. To wrap this up, we would highly recommend Precision Door Service and their staff to anyone who wants a great product, installed professionally, by knowledgable and friendly staff.
